10K Course goes through Howarth and Spring Lake parks, down Newanga onto Summerfield, turning onto Spring Creek Dr. and ends on Carley Rd. at Slater Middle School.
3K Course goes through Howarth Park upper parking lot to Summerfield, turning onto Spring Creek Dr. and ends on Carley Rd. at Slater Middle School.

Each year the blacktop area behind Herbert Slater Middle School is transformed into a bustling festival area, where participating nonprofit organizations and supporting businesses can reach out to the community. Approximately 9,000 walkers and runners visit the Marketplace on Race Day.

Parking & Shuttle  |
Shuttle Times: 6:30 am – 12:30 pm
Leave the driving to us! Park your car at one of the three shuttle lots. Shuttle vans will drive you to and from the school.
Blue Line: From Mary’s Pizza Shack parking lot at Summerfield Rd. and Montgomery Dr. to Slater Middle School
Green Line: Stop #1 From Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1780 Yulupa to
Stop #2 1700 Yulupa Rincon Valley School District to Slater Middle School
Red Line: From Montgomery Village parking lot at the corner of Farmer’s Lane and Patio Ct. to Slater Middle School

Thank you to all of the great bands who provided entertainment for the 2008 Human Race: the Interpretations, 4th Street Jazz Band and the Chamber Music Society of Sonoma.
